Being a small business, we offer a personable service. Charley and Dmitry are always on hand to deal with enquiries directly and pride themselves on building trusted relationships with Charities across the South.
Astra collects a wide range of items including textiles, shoes, belts, bags, bed linen and soft toys.
Astra is consistent and efficient, paying our clients in full and on time.
We offer detailed reports on what has been collected and our price is always fair. We consistently monitor the industry to ensure that will always be the case.
We cover mostly the Southeast which includes but isn’t limited to Hampshire, Sussex, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and the Isle of Wight.
If you need bags, we will happily supply this free of charge.
Clothing Banks
We work with organisations and charities to help them raise important funds through our textile recycling service.
We provide free textile banks across the South, helping charities to reach financial and recycling targets as well as offering a useful service to communities and doing something positive for the environment.
Door to Door
We work with organisations and charities to help them raise important funds through our textile recycling service.
As part of our Charity Partnership, we also provide a door-to-door service, with branded bags, delivered to designated areas and then collected. Every item of clothing collected helps us to support the charity to achieve its goals.
We also provide a helpline for households to contact us directly with any queries.

About Us
We are a small business based in Hampshire, working since 2013 to promote textile recycling, reduce waste to landfill and also give people the opportunity to get something back for their unwanted textiles.

Our Cash 4 Clothes recycling scheme is designed to benefit local communities, charities and schools.
We are proud to be partners with The Children’s Air Ambulance, helping to save lives through providing textiles banks and door to door collection services
We work with local charities and Portsmouth City Council offering placements to people with health conditions looking to get back to work. Most of our staff have come via this route, we are proud to support these initiatives.
